extended chin spoiler
This might not be a good idea but, I've wondered about extending the front chin spoiler an inch or so. From what I've seen, a lot of the rubbing when pulling in a parking lot or something is from the air dam underneath. I know the chin spoiler already hangs pretty low, though. Anyone tried it? I've also wondered about adding a splitter under it. thoughts, ideas....

Re: extended chin spoiler
Factory design sticks out too much forward to give you any real ground clearance, less if your car is lowered. With the 70's design front wheel overhang, it's a real issue.
But if you were to put a 1" lower straight vertical front spoiler on it, that would be optimal.

It's been done by a member here maybe two. I know I've seen a blue iroc with a extended chin spoiler. I'll have to remember where i saw it.

Re: extended chin spoiler
I had a custom aluminum air dam (not front spoiler) that was about 2 1/2 inches longer and angled forward. It cooled the car better but rubbed a lot more. One needs to be made on a hinge that is spring loaded with a little wheel or roller that allows it roll and not grind. The factory plastic one bends.

Front overhang is 26". My lip is 4" off the ground, which is more than plenty as long as you don't approach driveways straight on.
