SOLD 1982 Firebird Trans Am for sale in Southeastern Michigan $1300 SOLD
My 82 Trans Am is for sale, I don't really need to sell it but if a buyer comes along I will sell it. I just don't have the time or facilities to restore it like I wanted to. It is located in 48045, MI. It has 70000 miles on it. 305 motor that is carbed (converted from crossfire) with a Holley 1850 carb. It is a 3 speed automatic, it has t-tops with the t-top bag included, and a new windshield. The interior is black and brown, and it has the original leather seats. It comes included with a lot of extra body parts, like the rest of the ground effects and a couple trunk pieces, a couple pairs of flip light assemblys, including one that has almost brand new motors on it and I know for sure works, but they need to be wired in. The dashpad in this car only has one extremely minor crack that you can't even see unless it is pointed out. It has good brakes on it aside from a slight pull to the left, but I am including the brand new unopened front rotors and pads that I never got time to install. It does not leak any fluids except coolant out of the radiator near the top. It has pretty good power and acceleration. The body is pretty clean, not much rust, it is in primer black (that is how I got it) and I had planned to paint it next spring. The t-tops do leak due to old weatherstripping, and the windshield sprayer doesn't work. It has the factory rear wiper and sprayer, but both don't work (wiring problem), and I don't have the blade for it. It still has the original dual muffler exhaust which is solid as a rock, and sounds mean. I am asking for $1300 NOW $975 for the car and all the parts. It is still insured and plated, and I drive it daily, so you are welcome to come by and test drive it!

I would also trade this car for a saturn with a 5 speed (preferably a wagon or coupe) or a really good condition geo metro, suzuki swift, chevy sprint, subaru justy, etc. Anything really economical.

Is it a manual? It frankly doesn't matter too much but I am very interested in that. I would like to see it, and you can see the trans am. I am free tomorrow, let me know!

PRICE LOWERED
I am still selling this car, final price mark-down of $975 FIRM if not it will go on autotrader. The car is in very decent driving order, and starts even after sitting for weeks (just need to warm up the carbbed engine once started, choke not hooked up) and it is good to go. It has it's blemishes but for a 1982 that was not garage kept at all it is very clean, and from the south. There is no body filler anywhere, some VERY minor rust, the worst rust is on the t-bars, and it needs a new headliner. It will need a new driver's door handle for sure. Come check it out! I will deliver the car as long as it isn't too far away. I just need the money. This is a very good restore project, and you can drive it while fixing it up! Just replace that door handle ASAP.
