Not bad on price, but may be a bit too high for this site. Beautiful car and definitely worth the asking price!

Hi thanks for the complements, I see your in Mesa I'm in central Phoenix.... I tried selling local all I got were dreamers. These cars are hard to find with under 100k miles I was hoping that it would become collectible soon.

Re: 1991 GTA 5.7 Auto W/full SLP
Well I will buy every rust free thirdgen 5.7 full slp cars under a 100k miles with mint interiors an paint on this site for $2000?....... were are they jesse shredd? There are none on this site for 2k but for whipped pos's that have 200k+ miles on them? I have been a member of this site for 7+ years an have owned more camaros an firebirds then u can dream of I have a 2002 SS LS1 black on black T-top car with 50k miles you are talking about two different cars apples to oranges. What does the price of fourth gen cars have to do with the price of a low mileage thirden car that is one of less than 500 made? You should get ur facts straight before typing there Jess jus saying......

Re: 1991 GTA 5.7 Auto W/full SLP
I don't think it's about the value, just nobody around with $8K to drop on this car. I'm going to be in the market and am looking for something like this (3rd gen V8), just nowhere near the budget for that. Beautiful car, wish I had the extra cash. Good luck.

Re: 1991 GTA 5.7 Auto W/full SLP
I'm in the market for a car, and a green/tan 91-92 has been on my want list for a long time. Add in full SLP options and all paperwork, and it becomes more desireable to me.
But a few threads up there is a mint black 89 GTA 350 car with 47k miles for $7k OBO....

The 4th gen cars are still coming down in value where the 3rds are coming up in value.
Great car, GLWTS!

Re: 1991 GTA 5.7 Auto W/full SLP
I think that if everything checked out as good as you describe it and it seems that the $7500-8000 range is a fair price for the car, which is right about where you are now.
Having said that, I think one of your challenges in the internet marketplace is the cost and hassle of shipping/bringing it home.
Expecting someone to pay $8k then spend another $1500 to get the car home means their investment is $9500, probably more than they want to spend, (and more than the market value of the particular car right now)

OK.
I obviously don't know as much as you...you're a collector/hoarder I just figured it may have the dual cai. Although, out of all the slp optioned cars I've seen, none have had the dual cai...only the firehawks I've seen

I bought my 2002 z28 6 speed with all SLP options along with SS options, leather loaded, much lower miles, and t-tops for less than that. I know markets are different around the US, but what you are trying to sell would be found for $2,000 here. If you are truly trying to sell, I would suggest cutting your price.

Give me about 2 years. I still need to finish the one I have (89 IROC) and save up some dough. I want a GTA for my second son. First one gets the Camaro. Wanted an 89, but this will do!

Re: 1991 GTA 5.7 Auto W/full SLP
I think you are priced very fairly. The Hagerty valuations are really screwing up the market for these cars. You have people with very fair condition cars asking "good" condition prices. That being said it is a matter of what cars are selling for not what people are asking. I had 3 or 4 cars come up for sale in my area over the last 4 or 5 months. Three of them were low mileage originals with under 47k miles all asking from $12k to 9.5k respectively. Two of those 3 were in near perfect condition with minor tlc needed from being stored, the 3rd had low miles but the body and interior were poor by any definition. I researched what cars were actually selling for on ebay and at physical auctions like Mecum, and came up with a max number that would prevent me from being in a bad value position at any point in the near future. I ended up purchasing the one I did for less than what the previous owner had spent under the hood. Exterior is great and interior is a solid 8/10 with no more than a headliner, couple new switches and mild cleanup to be perfect in my eyes. For less than what any of those others were asking I have a much better performing car that looks as good if not better. Originality on these 3rd gens won't have a huge bearing on future value in my opinion as there were but a few special packages, tta, firehawk, 1le available. Good luck with the sale, if you were local that would have been a strong contender for my dollar.

Re: 1991 GTA 5.7 Auto W/full SLP
Yeah I feel that 8k for a real deal GTA with all the right options plus the slp Goodies with good miles is a fair price. I have lots of SLP literature that goes with car that the original owner gave with car Pontiac was really pushing the Slp stuff more than the Chevy dealer's....

Re: 1991 GTA 5.7 Auto W/full SLP
now there's a great example of historic significance for classic vehicles of the future.
You add several values to this car...like how many GTA were built in 1991 (as they were dwindling down on production,) then add the 5.7L, and the cream of the top...the "COMPLETE" SLP package! Those stainless steal headers are more valuable then some beat up cars in general! With documention involve this car is worth for what your asking and a i believe a very fair price. At one point of time, i missed out on a opportunity to buy a car like this car and the price was easily 8k (this was in 2002-03)...kinda regret it but at the same time, I enjoyed my GTA...
Good luck on the sell...perhaps i may find a buyer...stay tune!

Fly in and drive it home or I can have it shipped to VA around $950 to your door. Don't forget buy buying a car from a nice dry climate that they have 0 rust and very clean underneath this car has barley ever seen rain.......
