I'm looking to buy a 82-89 Trans Am and it must be a 5-speed and it must be working and running. I don't expect perfection. I'm in the NW Detroit area.

A v-8 firebird with a 5 speed is also cool.

Engine must be running and not smoking a few leaks is fine.
Trans must shift properly.
The body must be in OK shape for its age, i don't mind a few rust spots or even different paint on different panels.
It must have tires the tread is of no importance.
I'm also looking for manual door looks and windows(but power is fine)
I'm just looking for a toy to enjoy and spend a little money on.

I was gonna spend about 2grand on a new engine but i want a 5speed to playwith. I'm looking to spend up too 2 grand for the right car. I'm also willing to travel a fair bit. Thanks
