Im scoping out any 85-90 Trans AMs...Body is the only important thing....
Hey all. Just seeing whats out there that Im not seeing by paging through threads.
Im looking for an 85-90 Trans AM. I would like t-tops... Can be auto or stick. The main thing is...Im looking for a good body. Straight, clean, no major accidents, with decent paint. I dont care if it has a v8 or v6 or whatever. Running gear doesnt matter at all. The interior doesnt even matter. I just want a good, clean, straight, solid body. The paint part isnt THAT important. But it would be nice to have something presentable until I can re-paint it if needed...
Im in PA, 19320... So obviously the closer the better. Please provide some pics if you respond. You can post em or send them to jgindin20@hotmail.com .
If the price is good, Ill have it towed to me... whatever.
Let me know!!! Thanks!
Justin

WOW... That is a gorgeous car! I would absolutely LOVE to buy that from you. Couple things that would stop me... One, I plan on putting all of my drive train into it. And that car just seems too nice to mess with. Two, well its just a tad over what im looking to spend.
If it had a blown motor...that car would be perfect. Its just so nice Ide hate taking it apart. haha I wouldnt even want to swap my interior...yours is GORGEOUS!
Basically...I was thinkin about stripping whatever car I get down to nothing but a shell. Swapping my interior, motor, trans, wiring, dash, EVERYTHING over to it. Which is why I dont care if it runs or whatever..just that the body is nice.
Thanks for the link though...if the insurance company gives me more than I think Im going to get....we might be talking.

Actually...Im gonna shoot you a quick PM.

This only moved down on thread...haha. But Im bumping it anyway. After removing some more parts, Im even more serious about getting another car. I got about 3200 from the insurance company. I can probably turn that into 4000 really easy, and my cap is probably 5000...but I might have to wait for an extra pay check to go to 5k.
