Toledo too far? cause i got a busted Red 83 Firebird that has what i belive is an lg4 with holley carb and 700r4 swaped in. I want it GONE after i get title(should be just a couple of days). First car i ever bought, belived the sellers B.S. about motor, didnt listen to my dad ect. Runs atm. Dont want much for it paid 300. Curious, are you looking at becoming a parts supplier or serious collector? Also is there a maximum dollar amount? It might help with the people replying and getting their hopes up.

 

Mostly looking for cars that need work or totally restored. I'll pay what I can, but it's not going to be much. I'm a college kid ya know! I just love thirdgens.

 

Hey man im in IN but would have no problem bringing it over (especially if i get to look at yours in person! ) but its an 86 T/A 78k origional miles ttops power windows tinted tailights exc... rebuilt 305 with about 10 miles on it its got goodies like edelbrock carb intake and headers.. newer tires and the flowmaster exaust has about 10 miles on it as well.. Taking a big loss id let it go for 2500.. When i first bought it i planned on making it similar to yours but had to do the engine instead.. lol

i believe is looking for cars for under 1000 .
i know his dad runs a junk yard but he personaly like haveing fbodys
most scrap yards tend to pay 50-150 per car so he was offering a little more for third gens then other scrapers in the area but to many people want to sell him a car that needs work at full market value

i know he is also in school in cali and home for vacations so that may be why he isnt getting back to you aswell .
but really it seems like to me only the one in toledo is the type deal he would be wanting i could be wrong but its my guess .

basicly if its a car thats been sitting for years or something went wrong and you where thinking about scrapping it he would take it off your hands for a little more then the a normal scrap yard as he dose not just have then crushed for the metal he keeps them for parts.
