The second bird 1990 Red will be ready to go after one more court appearance....its already running good...we tweaked that one first....and I think its the nicer of the two.

I dont know how to PM on this site (I am really computer illiterate...I had to look up GLWS on Google cause I didnt know what it meant....do you really think I overpriced it?)I think I've gotten some pics of the white one on to this message (we'll see) I think if you want to take a drive from here to PA the red one would be the better choice but I think with it not having been on the road for years you could have some difficulties (true with any car ). I have an 88 Formula with gold GTA wheels on it w/ 305 TPI , 700R4, T-Tops, sub frame connectors, rust free (repaired the only rusty spot on the car) and it runs, stops, drives perfect not to mention the paint job is shiny and only a few years old. I have rebuilt the brakes and replaced the seats and carpet as well. It is a head turner and has been gone through with a fine tooth comb the last three summers. I would normally not be interested in getting rid of it, but am looking into purchasing another car and would have to sell it. Let me know if interested.

 

Need a price & more info on the "repaired" rust

 

I'm not interested in shipping a car back unless it is one hell of a deal. I haven't seen an asking price yet.

 

The "rust" was two spots about the size of a quarter each behind the right front fender. Apparently sometime in the past the A/C had a leak that let water seep through and cause the rust. It was removed ground/cleaned primed, patched with heavy gauge steel and painted (done right). This "rust" is barely an issue compared to many of the rats nests of third gens that are out there right now (can post picture of repair if you prefer). I bought the car three years ago for 2,400 and have put about 2,700 into getting it back into better shape (new seats, new carpet, umi weld in subframe connectors, tds wonderbar, replaced egr/ new seals for top of motor, bought and refinished gta wheels, rebuilt brakes/front suspension and many other misc. repairs/upgrades). With this in mind im asking 3,950.
