1991 B4C never seen police service

I was woundering is anyone knows of any B4C that have not seen police sevice. I have a 1991 that was never a patrol car and I want to know how rare it might be. The vin is 1G1FP2380ML197767 if you want to check it out. The story I heard about my car was that a dealership ( I can't remember the name right now) in Canal Whinchester, Ohio faked the paper work to get 4 or 5 of these cars to sell. I don't know if it is true or not, but that is where the car is from. Here is a list of everything my car came equiped with.

350 TPI
700R4
3.23 gears
G80 posi unit
36mm front sway bar
23mm rear sway bar
J65 4 wheel disc brakes
N10 dual cat exhuast

Yes, there is a '92 B4C here in Atlanta that has never seen service, or the light of day for that matter. It belongs to a friend of mine and has less than 1,000 miles on it. Don't ask it's not for sale. Sorry.

well, mines no where being that nice. It has 130,000 plus miles and I think I'm the first owner to actualy fix anything. It still needs alot of work to get it up to where I want it. But the money is tight and right after I got her it got really tight and right now I am forced to use it as my daily driver.... when it runs.

I think there are probably more that have not seen service than most people think. If you were a GM exec I am sure you could have gotten one. One week after I bought my '92 RS I saw one for sale in the auto trader with only 32,000 miles on it. It was in Flint, Michigan. So I am sure the guy was a GM exec. Wish I had waited, he only wanted $9,000 for it.

There were several that did not make it to police service. I have heard of several in Northern California, Ohio as you mentioned, GA, and also Alabama. A buddy of mine out here has a 1992 w/ 7k miles and leather(100%original).

plenty...........here in michigan they are quite common. try and find one that was in service and still working is harder.

it sounds like you have a nice car that is of the least common type........but not extinct.

last year at superfest here in michigan there were over a handful of ones not in service with 5,000 or less miles. that was one show.

Ressurecting an ancient thread.. but my '92 has 82xx original miles. It was purchased by a police officer but never used for service and tucked away.

Re: 1991 B4C never seen police service

Mine was ordered by a dealership that purposefully ordered the B4C for private sale. It never saw police service. It's an original LB9 T5 car.
