Anyone know what GTA stands for. I was looking at a 91 GTA and the guy said that it was a GT and the A standed for anniversary. I don't think this was true, anyone know what GTA stands for?

Also is there any such thing a a 91 GTA anniversary, like a 25th anniversary or whatever?

GTA: Grand Turismo Americano. Check our Tech Data and stuff on the main page of the site.

And for the Camaro dudes, IROC: International Race Of Champions.

Haha that's the funniest thing I have ever heard.

Italian derived, also used on Ferrari's like the 456. Kinda makes you feel special sharing a name with a Ferrari eh?

Just think about that for a minute........Firebird announced in 67, this car is a 91, that's a 24th anniversary. I can't say I have ever heard anything major celebrated for 24 years except a marriage!
