TTA pilot car #1 of 5. Pretty incredible and interesting find as far as I'm concerned.

 

That's incredible, I thought the test cars weren't white and didn't have the emblems. This car sure sounds legit.

Well damn sweet then, I'd pay $18K for the VERY first TTA.....

Hard to say. It is one of 5 pilot cars. There is a #1 of the 1550 made. With the pilot cars, #1 of 5. With the mules (I think 13(?)), I'm sure there is another #1.
So, which one is it?? I would want #1 of 1550! But that's just me! There are quite a number of the mules running around! The mules were different colors.
Still though, a very nice car to have!
I wonder what most people would rather have? Mule? Pilot? Production?
Main thing is, I'm happy with mine!!! Maybe because I have #231! Ha!

I like the production group mostly because there is no question about their authenticity - as for what numbers I'd like to have,anything under 100,or even better anything under 10 and #231 but I guess thats out of the question

Hey, do you guys get the impression that I don't want to sell mine? HeHe! I mean, how many are autographed by the winner of the 1989 Indy 500???? So, mine must be priceless, right? Just think, Not that I would ever want it to happen, but, when Emerson dies, that autograph will go up sky high in value, and of coarse, by that time, so will my car, right?
Just having fun, guys! I am very happy with my 20th TTA!! Now, if I could just get the both of you to come out and visit, you could see everything I've got for my car!!

No problem with the driving of the 20th TTA! I guess that I'll get to test drive the 15th TA, right!! I have already driven an auto and a stick, both with the 305 HO! But that was back in 1984-1985! So....let's just say that I forgot what it was like!! Ha!!
Just remember to show up hungry!! Ha!!
