did iroc`s come decal delete

did iroc`s come decal delete

I was thinking back to high school 94-95ish and I remember that this kid in my class bought a white L98 iroc but he claimed the car came frome the factory without the decals or with them in the trunk I can`t remember exactly but anyway his Iroc was not decaled was thid factory or just BS on his part.

starting in 88, stripes could be removed. no decal cars would have the rpo DX3 iirc. it's been posted here before

really? cool
I took my stripes off, I don't like them.
while I don't need my car to look 100% like it did from the factory
I would like it to look like a stock IROC
ie change the decal colors and non striped.

there is also the California IROC, i believe.
it was a totally unmarked IROC. looks like a real sleeper.

Transmission: richmond 5 speed
Axle/Gears: 1991 w/1LE.auburn pro series.2.73's
a buddy of mine bought one of the 500 (could be 2500, but no more than that) california irocs, came out in 1985, no stripes, decals, even the hood was louverless. they were only in black or red, but yellow could have been available too, cant remember. the rear spoiler was also left out of the package. wish i had that car now.
