Is my car a WS6?

84 T/a, no sticker under the center console, but got the cowl tag. No WS6 RPO code. The car has the Performance Suspension tag on the passenger side lower plastic, and it has discs in the back.

Can anyone tell me for sure?

These are the RPO codes I pulled off the cowl:

AQ9
CC1
19U
19L
O4B

Thanks!

hmm

seeing as you don't have an rpo sheet in the console, it looks like you'll have to crawl under the car, and measure the size of the swaybars, front and rear.

Drew would be able to confirm this for sure, but i think WS6 gives you a 34mm front swaybar, and a 21 or 23mm rear bar.

AQ9 decodes as front bucket seats... (should be high backs)
CC1 decodes as t-tops
19U decodes as the primary exterior color being black
19L decodes as the secondary exterior color being black
and O4B was not found in the decoder's database.

below is a link to the thirdgen.org RPO decoder.

04B = 2nd Build week of April.

It might help if you mentioned what engine and trans you have.

The motor is a 305 HO with a 5 speed. I'll get under and check the sways tomorrow.

The sway bars should be 32/23 f/r.
It probably is WS6, having the HO engine and the rear discs.

Only for 1982 did AQ9 have the single distinction for Recaro seats.
'83 on, it was for the Lear Siegler and the Recaro seats.
