What is the original color of your car? Is your accent color gold or silver? The color of the "TUNED PORT INJECTION" decal below the IROC-Z emblem is red, silver or gold, depending on the above.

I would say the rocker panel decals were originally silver. What intrigues me is your red rear bumper badge. I have seen red rear bumper badges on dark red metallic IROC-Z's, but never on bright red. These cars had red IROC-Z door decals and red/black striping too!! (Kind of strange in my opinion.)

GM was very good in using the same color decals/badges on the same car, so I can only assume your red badge is not original. Heck, it wouldn't make sense to use red rocker decals on a red car, would it? You wouldn't be able to see it!! If I owned your car, I'd use silver badges all the way around. And when you buy a pair of rocker decals, the backing has a mark that shows you how it lines up with the "IROC-Z" emblem so there's no question how it's supposed to be positioned.

On a red car, all the badges were silver or gold.

My question though.....is that I don't have a sticker anywhere near my rocker badge.....but I have seen them. I have seen plenty without too. I often have wondered about that, and this is a good time to bring it up. What's the deal? I have seen the sticker below the rocker badge, to answer your question.

Is it maybe cuz I have a 5.7? kinda like how the 5.0 cars don't list size on the bumper, where as the 5.7's do?

Your car should say 5.7 Tuned Port Injection there.

Unless it's a '91 or '92. They didn't use the rocker decals, only the rear bumper emblem.

No, mine's an 89 Iroc. It must have been forgetten about when It was repainted by the previous owner.....I imagine this happens alot, because I've seen other Irocs without it too. Or maybe people just don't like it, and it's removed.
