Here is a question that has been itching me for awhile. Does anyone know about the 25th anniversary package. I was wonderingif all the 1992 camaros were anniversary edd. I have a RS anniversary. Do you know how many 25th rs anniversary were made? Thanks

 

The so called anniversary editions (Heritage Editions) came with the stripes, the rear deck badge, and the interior badge. All other 1992 Camaros came with just the interior badge, I do not know how many Heritage Editions were produced but it was quite a few, The Camaro white book would tell you.

 

From info from this site in the tech data, there were 70,007 total production. All of which are 25th anniversary cars. The heritage package or RPO code Z03 which gave you stripes and other badging had a production of 8,197. You should really check out the tech data. Very informative.

 

What the other guys said is correct. The only bad thing is, Chevy didn't keep track of the number made with each package. The original color combos were, white w/red stripes, black w/red and red w/black. Mid year polo green w/ gold and purple w/silver were added. The 8197 total includes all models, RS Z28 and conv. So when you get down to it there's not a whole lot of each model. I've been doing research on this since I bought my car 9 years ago and I've taken my number of possible green and golds down to appox. 500. Then when you factor in age and previous owners and wrecks, the number of possible road worthy cars gets pretty small.

 

I sure would've been nice if GM had taken numbers of each color combination, and package. Aside from the Z03's I've seen on this board, I've only personally seen 4 other Heritage cars around my area. Two red/black (one of which is mine), one black/red, one white/red. Only one of these was a Z28, and it was the white/red. The rest were RS's. The black/red car was a friend of mine, and was wrapped around a tree about three years ago.

 

Thats true, they made 8,000 plus of those, but you don't see them every day. Always a treat to see one, RS or Z28.

not too many polo green with gold stripes are around....i know Green RS has one...and YRUSOSLO has one also....YRUSOSLO and i are in the same local club....besides mine and the 2 others, i havnt seen any others....thats after researching for bout a year now...
