Autotrader.com has stopped listing 1982's
In a recent thread I praised autotrader.com for being the last website out there with an abundance of 1982 cars to choose from. Well, no more. Today I just found out they are not listing them anymore. It was just a matter of time. The year is still listed as an option in their search criteria, but now it finds no cars. Just a couple of weeks ago I was finding literally dozens of cars. Not anymore. My car search has been severely hampered from this.. And I know people who have looked there specifically for older years. I'm sure they won't miss our support, but they no longer have it. Shame...

Yikes, 79 grand for a firehawk?!!? Only found this because I was strolling through the Classic car trader site. Courtacy of it being mentioned in this thread. Plus I thought that 92GTA might be interested in it.
Wow, I just took a stroll through the classic car trader site. Who wants to spend $79,000 on Firehawk #3.

WAY too expensive!

They will still be listed in the Collector section, along with other classic cars, as others have already noted. I would like to see more options to narrow down a search in the Collector section, but if you spend some time, you can still find what you're after.

I know they went for 50 or 60 grand all optioned, but I didn't think they had gone up in price that much.
As for it being yours I did consider it, I just knew you had one. Didn't bother to check what # you had. But I thought you wouldn't part with it. I know I wouldn't. I'd keep it till the end of time.
BTW, I still think its too expensive. But I'm in no position to buy it anyways.

I don't plan on selling it. I've had so many people ask me about that ad I'm tired of explaining but the whole idea is to price it so high it does not sell....
Look for a topic on NEThirdgen.org and that will explain it all.

Haha thanks 92GTA .. I'm not the only weirdo out there! One time I listed my Recaro T/A for sale on ebay with a reserve of $50,000 if I remember right
Of course I had no real intention to sell but if some wacko came along with $50K, I'd do it in a heartbeat. It made it to $8103 which surprised me; I thought it would never reach so high. Your car is probably worth $80K to the right person.. probably a millionaire tycoon with too much time on his hands.. now if he'd just see your ad and call up, you'd be set
then you could tell him to call me with $50K more
I hope you guys are right about 82's being on the other site now.. haven't checked it yet but I will. Thanks for the heads up, TTYL

If some retard with to much money wants to get ripped off then fine by me. If I were you and someone bought that car from me I would laugh. Buy a 1989 Turbo TA and pocket the rest.
