I'd consider this to be a definitive answer...
Unless its a 91-92 Z28 or 91-92 GTA with an L98 and TTops, its nothing out of the ordinary.
Every other platform with the L98 was available with ttops.

Really I thought that it was impossible to have a camaro w/ the l98 and t-tops. My bad tho you can go ahead a delete this post. Thanks for the answer!
I'll leave it, cause its a popular misconception. Its true that in 1991 and 1992 almost all of the L98 cars weren't available with ttops, the exception being Formula's with the crosslace wheels.
If someone comes across a 91-92 GTA or a Z28 with a 350 and ttops and they can post a picture of the SPID to show CC1 and L98, then it'll change a lot of opinions. Personally I don't doubt that there are 91-92 GTA's and Z28's with both. I just think they're unproven at this point.

I seem to recall MDFormula350 posting his spid sheet proving a 1991 Formula L98/CC1. click to view:

How can they have a Recall on something for a car that never was produced?

ALL DATA LMFAO
you actually go by what ALL DATA says?
we had a choice in mechanic school to either use ALL DATA or SI2000
i wouldnt trust an all data CD as far i could throw it
i have seen so many mistakes and errors on ALL DATA its not even funny that some professionals have no choice but to use it
IMHO, find a CREDIBLE source

There were not as many made from 91-92 as were the 87-90s.
But they were Made.
People browse the threads with reckless disregard for detail.
"Its true that in 1991 and 1992 almost all of the L98 cars weren't available with ttops, the exception being Formula's with the crosslace wheels."
The debate isn't about 91-92 Formula's cause its been proven that they were available. The debate is 91-92 GTA's and Z28's, those are the cars that need to have the SPID's posted here to show L98 and CC1. If you don't have both, you're wasting your time debating the authenticity since anyone can take a LB9 Z28 and change a couple badges and it'll look like a L98 to any dumbass off the street.
Unless you have a scan or a clear picture of a SPID with L98 and CC1 clearly printed, with a VIN showing 91-92 production, and RPO codes Z28 or Y84, you're fighting a losing battle. If someone does have the above proof that they exist, please post them so we have a definitive answer.
For the record, I've seen a 92 Z28 that was definitely a L98 and definitely had factory Lexan Ttops. I don't know the specifics behind the car, for all I know it was a victim of someone cutting the roof off a ttop car and swapping it over. I don't have the spid info so I'm not going to argue that the car was authentic. Out of common courtesy the other members of this board should do the same. Keep it to yourself unless you have hard proof.

Thank you Drew, for backin me up.
If you have PROOF on a 91-92 Z28 with CC1 and L98, and the matching vin number, lets see it.
The White book says they don't exsist. and they don't.
All of them out there are after market conversions
