L98/LB9 cam conflict

i have heard about all the SD cars 305 or 350, got the L98 cam..
and the cam was stamped with L98

i pulled my cam out today and inspected it for signs of wear..i did not see any "L98" anywere on it..i checked every inch..i did however came across these numbers
773·CPC·BC·13

these numbers were around the cam back by the distributor gear

The 773 (as in PT#10111773) is the cam used on the '90-'92 LB9 and L98.
