The 1989 GM owner's Manual covers all Camaro models regardless of what model you have. The info is Not for a specific
engine or model.

So you don't like GM's design for the manual, complain to them.

I have a Pontiac Bird 1989 owner's manual and it says VERY, very little (I can't even remember) about the 5.7 tuned port. I will say having a Cadillac service manual, that there is NO substitute for the actual GM service manuals and these are typically $35 or more, but a worthwhile investment and I plan to get one for mine

Taking about the OWNERS MANUAL for operation of the car and accessories and not the service manual.

Yes, but I'm not saying you can't have both

If you want detailed info, the service manual is advised

I hope I'm not getting off subject here but the service manual is a worthwhile investment! I rebuilt my car w/one(GM)! If you ever have a chance to pick one up for your specific car, you should definitely get it!

In fact, when I sold my car, I kept the manual. You bet.
I didn't expect anything like a flame over the mere mention of how great they are to have on hand. The owners manual is nothing like the service one
hehe
