I have a Pontiac Bird 1989 owner's manual and it says VERY, very little (I can't even remember) about the 5.7 tuned port. I will say having a Cadillac service manual, that there is NO substitute for the actual GM service manuals and these are typically $35 or more, but a worthwhile investment and I plan to get one for mine

Yes, but I'm not saying you can't have both
If you want detailed info, the service manual is advised

I hope I'm not getting off subject here but the service manual is a worthwhile investment! I rebuilt my car w/one(GM)! If you ever have a chance to pick one up for your specific car, you should definitely get it!

I didn't expect anything like a flame over the mere mention of how great they are to have on hand. The owners manual is nothing like the service one
