Poncho history book
I took some shots from the book I've mentioned before I return it to the library, however...lacking a scanner they are not all that hot. I may still get a chance to add some text here, we'll see.
Hope you can STILL enjoy these fuzzy shots....and they fit up here

These are shot with my digital cam and I tried several times for better shots but you have to move further away with fixed focus cameras....fun, eh?

That last one is pretty horrid...but features Richard Petty with the caption, What the King drives to work!
hehe
One of my faves.

In a book I was looking at the other night at my fiances job (books-a-million), there was a thick *** book about the complete line of Firebirds and Trans Ams. Well, of course, I was reading a chapter about the 86 model and in it was Richard Petty posing next to a black Trans Am.
I'm thinking about buying the book cause it has a ton of info in it; including every rpo code, the cost of that option, and any other rpo's that were required to have that option.

I'm running behind again, but I included a pic of the cover on a couple other threads recently. It's here somewhere already. Looking thru HOT ROD again, I see a Camaro and Firebird book offered by Lamm-Morada Publishing in the early 1980s for $15. Located in Stockton California at the time. Worth looking for the books were both penned by Michael Lamm
