82 Crossfire Z28
I found a 1982 crossfire Z for sale and I want to know what you guys think. First for the bad ; There is some minor rust repair that would have to be done, and after that of course there would be paint, and for some reason the fuel pump isn't running but that's an easy fix. The car ran when parked so I am thinking the relay is stuck or something.
The good ; It has every conceivable option for 1982 minus the pace car package. PW,PL, PM that still work, power antenna, power seats that still work, t-tops, power hatch release, the premium radio, cargo cover, cruise, automatic. The interior is perfect and the car only has 59,xxx miles on it. The guy that has it only wants $450 for it! Let me know what you guys think. Thanks Josh

as long as you think its worth it go for it.
Crossfires are not as bad as some people beleive or think they are.

I would think so, Heck as long as its all there and you think you can make it nice again.
I guess if there were holes in the panels I would have to think about it. I bought my 83 T/A for $250 for the parts, I got GTA seats, and some other misc parts from it, like the rear axel etc, and I paid $800 for my 83 Camaro just because it had an 87 Trans Am TPI engine, and it was wrecked in the front (no engine damage)
in short, $450 is not a whole lot to lose. I would go for it if thats what you want.

It really is a shame that it doesnt have a stick, I personally wouldnt buy an F-body without the manual transmission, but that's a matter of personal preference. I say go for it, what have you got to lose! $450 is a drop in the bucket for a ride like that! 89' LB9-MM5 Formula

I'd go for it. Its gonna be one of only two years of the Z28 to get the factory fibreglass hood, and the only year for the functional hood flappers (but not all had them)
I'd go for it. $450 is nothing for that car. Hell, just the hood alone is probably worth $100 of that, maybe more
