i didn't think these questions could be answered. i didn't think Pontiac keep track of figures for cars with X and Y and Z options.

According to the www.gtasourcepage.com, there were 5,352 1987 GTAs with the digital dash, out of 9481 GTAs.

If you're wondering if your digital dash is rare, it is not. Some people seem to mistakenly think it is rare for 1987 or 1988, but having over 50% doesn't seem too rare to me.

I do know the 87 T/A had the option of having the digital dash, I almost bought one that had everything on it, WS6, power everything overhead console, and digital dash. It was Blue over silver, and had the Formula style wheels, nice car.

SO!, with that in mind (the fact that the T/A also came with the digital dash) and since GM did not keep track of such info it is impossible to tell...

I really like the Digital dash, but like 87tpi stated, I would be worried about the accuracy. Not as much as the Speedo, I had an 90 Riv with all digital, and I would think that the tach would be a problem with racing...

Funny thing was I think it had the same # of segments as the T/A digital stuff, when it came to the gages... I bet they used the same processors...
