I'd just go to the local auto parts store and pick up a remanufactured water pump, they are relatively cheap.
Assuming it has the factory engine, it is a small block 305.
yea, i hae been having trouble spelling lately, its the hole out of school for 2 months thing, and i dont mind getting car with rust on it, my dads cousin can do body work so i could just get him to help me out with it, as long as it hasn't eaten throught the body ill probably pick it up. and rs freak thanks for that, wasn't sure the engine type and couldn't find it anywhere else, and in all honesty i didn't look very hard in teh first place

Problem is, when rust shows it's ugly face on our cars, it usually has done lots of damage to the floors, wheelhouses, etc.

Rust = hell. I wouldnt mess with a rusty car because it spreads so easy and hard to completely destroy unless you are stripping the entire car down.
