1983 comaro

i am 16 years old, looking to buy my first car, 1983 comaro (no ****) anyway, the link can be found here http://www.trader.ca/Search/Details....ategory=&CAT=1 . link doesn't work... ill show the coments or whaterver CLASSIC CAMARO POWER

wondering what a good company to go with is for said waterpump, as well anything else i should be looking for for this car. Also want to know what i should do first as far as upgrades go, and is this asmall block or a big block...srry about the questions ive never really looked at comaros before i was looking at a transam but am no longer. any help would be greatly apreciated thanks.

ok first thing you gotta know is its CAMARO and second that sounds like a not bad car. see how bad the rust is and offer himmoney accordingly. personally i'd never tough a car with rust on it but thats me

I'd just go to the local auto parts store and pick up a remanufactured water pump, they are relatively cheap.

Assuming it has the factory engine, it is a small block 305.

yea, i hae been having trouble spelling lately, its the hole out of school for 2 months thing, and i dont mind getting car with rust on it, my dads cousin can do body work so i could just get him to help me out with it, as long as it hasn't eaten throught the body ill probably pick it up. and rs freak thanks for that, wasn't sure the engine type and couldn't find it anywhere else, and in all honesty i didn't look very hard in teh first place

Problem is, when rust shows it's ugly face on our cars, it usually has done lots of damage to the floors, wheelhouses, etc.

Transmission: 700R4 (Camaro) & Isuzu 5 speed (Fiero)
Rust = hell. I wouldnt mess with a rusty car because it spreads so easy and hard to completely destroy unless you are stripping the entire car down.
