You have the last year of the IROC,
You have it as a convertible,
You have it with the best Engine/Trans Combination
You don't have the best, but a good rear/gears (or are those the best available for the verts, No G92??)
You have the first year for the SP TPI Setup,
The GOOD convertible top design with the headliner,

KEEP IT, DON'T MODIFY IT! RESTORE IT!

You have one of the more desirable and rare of the mass produced 3rdgens (excluding Firehawk, TTA)
In 15 years it'll have a lot of value if it's in good shape, restore that thing, please!

Exactly why I picked it up. I’ve been looking for a long time.

True, I wanted the G92 package, but after years of keeping an eye open I figured I was as close as I was going to get to my dream thirdgen.

I’m torn between taking the 350 I have sitting in the bay of my RS and putting it in the vert, or keeping it original. I’ve been considering swapping all my good stuff into the vert, but I’m not sure. Perhaps the best choice is to leave it stock.

Oh and thanks guys for the corrections to my RPOs. I printed a new list to keep in my file. I've wanted a 90 IROC for quite some time. When I found this one I knew I had to jump on it. Thanks for all the nice comments.

I posted a pic the other day, but here are some new ones.

Actually she's a 10 footer. There are some chips in the paint. The driver seat needs to have a few rips repaired. Overall she's really clean, but not show worthy.

not show worthy? Thats such beautiful ride you got there. Man i love that blue on a iroc convt, esp if its a 1990 they only made a lil over 1000 of em. Keep that clean man, your car is one of the best convertibles ive seen, im jealous. congrats man and great find whats the mileage on her? it looks low to me

Actually it's high - 146,000. At some point the car was repainted, which is why it looks so nice. Whoever did the work did it well. It does need some touchup work at this point though, which I can do myself when I get around to it.

Yeah mechanically she runs great other than a little puff of smoke on startup....nothing some new valve guide seals won't fix. The suspension could use new bushings too because of the age, but overall she runs great and is in excellent condition.

Um, Chris? That is THE most gorgeous car that I've ever seen in all of my soon-to-be 32 years. I suppose that I'm somewhat biased since my '89 is a 98U car, though

Seriously...you have an absolutely breath-taking IROC.
