1992 RS LOADED to Base 1984 z28?
My RS needs floor work, the guy also plugged a little bit of bondo into the 1/4 panels. My motor has high milage and leaks.BUT my car has all options but no t-tops.The body work was done right, the motor still runs real good just the oil pan is rotten.
I can get a 1984 BASE z28 with no options execpt tape deck.Im assumeing it has a LG4.But the undercarage and 1/4s look as though they just rolled out of body by fisher. Both cars are black.Do you guys think I should just weld up my floors in the 92? or buy the 84 and swap all the 92 stuff onto it? other then the floors my 92 is pretty solid ,with a little bit of filler in one of the 1/4s.
what should i do?

Do you like the style of the 84 more? I would say fix your 92 and take the 84 and have 2 cars.

All I have to say is I am to the point where I refues to buy a car that has Rust. Its too much work. If it were me I would consider the 84, and swap all the stuff from one car to the other if you want to keep it.
But I dont' know your plans to keep it or not.

I think the 82-84's are the best body style for both the Camaros and Trans Ams. 85 and up...you can have 'em.
