I've just aqquired a HPI RS4, and an OFNA AWD touring car chassis. The chassis are about 190mm wide, or ~7.5" wide.

Does anyone know if one of the mfg's currently makes a thirdgen bird or camaro lexan body? Or if they ever made one?

I'd really like to stick a thirdgen body on one of these cars so I can take it to car shows and have a bit of fun with it as well.

I have a 1:10 scale RC car body from an 80's Firebird. Looks like an 82-84 style, base Firebird, no spoiler.

If you can wrench on a car you can put a RC kit together. Many of the same theories that work on real cars will work on RC cars.

You can buy kits, really fun to play with. Its been about 15 years since I was racing, but back in the day the best was the RC-10 made by Associated. You would not believe the difference it made to have good components in a good car vs some of the cheeper all plastic cars.

And that was 3rd gen related?

Still looking for a 3rd gen body, particularly a firebird of some kind in 190 or 200mm as that is what will fit the chassis I have.
