88 IROC'S all with TPI?
88 IROC on ebay with the following engine, definitley not a TPI.
Could you get an IROC with the TBI and does it look like this:
Looks like a carb engine to me

For '88 to early '90 the Z28 and IROC models were combined so the IROC "gained" the base options that were standard on the Z28 previously. The 305 TBI was the base engine which replaced the carburated 305 last available in 1987.
My friend has a base model '88 IROC. 305 TBI/5-speed, 15" rims, dinky sway bars, wonder bar, cast iron rear drums, no posi-traction, no power options, el cheapo base interior. Its basically what you would get if you went to the dealer and said "All I want is an IROC."

I KNOW for a fact that the IROC was available striped down to even have the LG4 in 1987. I looked at a LG4 equiped Convertable.

u sure the odometer didnt roll over?
i wouldnt get that, it will be harder to start and operate in the winter because the fuel condenses in the manifold
