firebird body style question
when was the last year you could get a Trans AM that looked like this:
also, when was the first year? I love that body style and am looking for one to buy and restore if necessary

The body was essentially the same from 1982-1992 The image you attached has the 'aero package' and it first came about in 1985.
The aero style birds got a slight workover for 1991-1992.. They changed the nose, tail and lowers..
1990 was the last year you could get a bird like you show in the image you attached..

Hes got the GTA emblems misplaced on the fenders. IMO, the 82-84 W/O GFX look the best. 
I had an 89 GTA, didnt much care for it. To each his own though.
