Firehawk Camaro?

Ok, you've got the firebird firehawk but why didn't SLP or someone else make an aftermarket Camaro something?

They do. It's called the Super Sport.

There wasn't a Thirdgen SS. There was no Camaro equivalent to the Firehawk, though if Chevy had produced the special 25th Anniversary 6 speed 350 TPI Camaros that they had planned, that would surely have been an equivalent.

I guess SLP just liked the Firebird better

Flowmaster 3" 2 chamber catback
Trans Go shiftkit
2000 stall converter

supposed 'peanut cammed' car (yeah, right)

SLP built so few thirdgen firehawks, as far as I'm concerned they don't exist either. The SS and Firehawks are 4th gen cars.

I did it for them! Check out my 92 Z28 with SLP's 92 Firehawk Motor! www.mylecdekmat.com/mike.htm

And as far as them making so few that they shouldn't exist... That pisses me off !!! They put so much time and effort into those cars. They sold for close to $60,000 for the competition cars. They had aluminum body pannels/motor, a 383, roll cage, racing seats with 5 points, a six speed. Now they are just a few bolt-ons... WOOOPDEEEDOOODAAAA??? The '92 are the real cars - the 4th gens are just purty...

Mike, I think you missed my point. I think the 91-2 firehawk is the best looking thirdgen in existance. I was trying to refute the "thirdgen SS" comment. When I think of Firehawk, I don't necessarily default to a thirdgen because they practically don't exist in terms of production numbers.

Amen Mike

By the way, I have a 12/91 test of a Firehawk, and the full competition version listed for $49,990 and the base one was $39,990
