Firebird Wagon???

U guys aren't gonna believe this. On a hotrod show, two guys were discussing a Firebird STATION WAGON!! It looks just like a 2001 firebird, but the roof extends straight back and then sharply curves down the back to the top of the taillights. It looks absolutly SICK!(in a bad way). Anyway, I was just wondering if anybody else has seen this on TV or out on the road anywhere. Maybe GM was targeting the married male who wants muscle, but the wife(shudder) wants a "family car". Who knows??

no real mods...YET

I opened my garage and hop into my Mustang, start the engine and imagine cruising down the road. . . . then I wake up in a cold sweat.

It's called the Hurst Hauler, and I think it's a pretty neat looking car myself (other than all the tacky decals on the doors). It's mainly a hatch replacement piece, and although it does resemble a station wagon, you pick up very little additional space inside with it...only a little area under the hatch glass. Still, my surfboards would fit into it very nicely...

I may have seen this car on Horsepower TV on one episode on TNN...i think that was the show i saw it on...anyway, its based off a 2001 Ram Air, and the only difference besides the rear bumper, and exhaust is the rear hatch. Everything else looks the same, and the paint is a nice deep copper.

I like it, personally.A Trans Am station wagon. You don't see that kinda thing everyday. Anything different is always good IMO.I just got an original notchback and stuck it my formula. I love it just cause it looks different. If I found a Kamback cheap(not that they're available), hell I'd slap that on just to get stares. But than again I'm funny that way.

Yeah, thats it. I think it looks absolutly disguting. Why would anybody want to do that to such a beautiful piece of american steel? Oh well, some people do do stupid things.(Stupid in my opinon of course, maybe not yours).
