I need to have the word "PONTIAC" that was painted on my taillights reproduced but I don't know the exact color that the lettering should be. Does anybody have any kind of a color code I could give the graphic shop?? Or even better yet, I remember that one guy on this board had his redone and if he or anyone else who has could contact me either here or directly and put me in contact with whoever did yours, I would VERY much appreciate it.

I don't want to go to the Westcoast Trans-A-Rama and the Trans Am Nationals and be the fool because the lettering is the wrong color....

I dont have any color codes but I have 2things that might help ya.
1) digital camera 92TA in garage
2) Friend that works at a sign shop and does custom graphics for his car and other all the time. Even though his is a rice, he does good work. He is going to do the stickers for my boat should look really cool.

Please take some close up pictures for me! Even if I can could just get an idea of the right color it would help me out alot.

My lettering is more pink colored now, but I think that is due to sun damage. I would guess that it was red to start with, but again I dont know for sure.

I have only seen one other 91-92 with the PONTIAC name written across the back, and it was pinkish in color as well.

 

The paint is gone on my lights as well. What is a good way to fix this?

I saw a set of 91-92 T/A taillights in a 91 Formula at a show this past weekend, PONTIAC was written in red, it was not faded. Sorry I cant be more of a help.

 

I just looked at mine closely I would think you could redo them as a decal and they would look fine. I will ask my friend the sign shop see what he thinks.

I have the same problem and i also have a
friend that owns a sign shop. Going to see
if i can have one made up, Oh by the way,
would u know 1. when i had my 92 GTA documented they said it had special taillights or something to that effect
maybe this word pontiac across the back is
it?? later GTA....
