I vaguely recall seeing a 4th gen concept car at a car show in the mid to late eighties. Does anyone remember seeing this or have too many beer suds destroyed my memory? I recall that it had really cool wheels(looked like fan blades)and looked similar to the production fourth gens( I think). I was wondering if anyone had a picture. Now to keep this on topic(thirdgen)were any concept cars for the thirdgen made and if so does anyone have pics?

Sounds like the "California Camaro" concept car. In my opinion it looked kind of like a cross between the Pontiac Banshee and a 4th gen Camaro. Oh yeah, and it was red.

if you guys have a Barnes & Noble near by or maybe just a book store they always have a couple camaro books in the car book section with pictures of the concept cars. i can picture it with my mind, too bad i cant post it..

The "california camaro" makes a brief appearance in Demolition Man. It's mentioned quite a bit in "All Corvettes Are Red". Are you looking for some specific info ?

Oh yeah.....The only thirdgen concept i've seen is the "GTZ" camaro. I didn't think it looked that great. I've also got a Hot Rod mag with a 4 wheel steer IROC in it.
