PMD Seats RPOs

I'm been told the following about PMD (viscount) seats:

-only available in 1982-1983 as the following RPOs:
1982 AR9
1983 YR2 (or maybe YR1?)

-only available under the B20 luxury trim group

-standard only on the 1982 Firebird SE

Is all this true? Anyone know if ANY of this is true? Does anyone have an 82 or 83 with PMD seats and know their RPOs?

No one with a 82 or 83? There has to be someone out there with at least a little bit of info on this.

I recently found an 82 Firebird SE in a local junkyard. It has the PMD seats, the car has a maroon interior. The car was definetly an SE.

Mike, AR9 and B20 is correct info. It does'nt mean they don't exist, but, i've never seen an '83 with them.

My '82 has the AR9/B20 interior in doeskin cloth. (64D)

MichaelRBrumm: My '82 T/A came with B20 "Luxury trim" and AR9 "Standard bucket seats" with 64I Doeskin Leather trim. The seats were standard and the luxury trim was an extra ($717.40)

82Firebird, if you sell those seats, see if you can e-mail me. I am in fact doing a Knight Rider conversion to my 83 T/A and am in desperate need of those seats.

never seen a confirmed 83 PMD car, and personally I doubt they ever made any, but if one exists, it'd have to be something other than AR9, since that code was used for something different by 83.

I saw what appeared to be an 83 blue T/A w/t-tops and blue interior that had the PMD seats in them-they were torn up a little but still all there. I was able to ****** the PMD insignias off of 'em!
