NICE! I think you summed it up pretty well, although I think muscle car can apply to most V8's present and past... you also forgot to address his insult to our "soft suspension gone softer" remark... which doesn't depend on age let us all laugh at some *** that doesn't understand how it is possible to change shocks and springs... also that thirdgen suspensions are some of the tightest out there even today... you made a good reply though... what a ****** ******** I hate uneducated people makin' like they know something.

I sent an e-mail to this **** and to the editor. Make sure you send a copy to the editor!

Most editors care about having the things they publish be the truth. If enough of us send in FACTUAL responses, this *** will get canned. Just make sure to make your e-mails are civil and quote facts. Not just "you ***** ***** wannabe ***!"

You'd think that he would have at least had a real mechanic (or someone knowledgable) ook over the thing before he had it published, wouldn't you? Man, what ignorance.

I really have to ask that u guys keep this open for a while.

This kind of thing shouldn't go uncorrected. Its messing with the what our cars have stood for and what all musclecars stand for, and all of it is completely incorrect, misinformed, misconcepted, BS.

This is completely off topic for this board and this site, I don't want to see anything like this on here again. Consider this the kind warning.

I've edited out anything that I personally find offensive. I'm leaving the thread here as an example of what NOT to post on my board. If you guys want to discuss this, go to ne3g, as it was discussed much in the same manner as you guys did here several days ago. If its not related to history and restoration it doesn't belong on this board. Flaming a columnist who obviously doesn't know what he/she is talking about doesn't belong here AT ALL.
