Are prices coming down?

Just saw this on Ebay...For as much as people say these are "rare" and "valuable" this guy got a steal! Is the true value starting to be realized?

eBay Motors: knight rider pmd seats/trans am (item 8075729761 end time Jun-19-06 19:54:01 PDT)

yah, they might have been trashed, but I've seen seat's in more trashed condition that those and they sell for like $300+ Every set of seats on Ebay needs recovered anyway.

Recovered is one thing, but now somebody has to track down the missing parts that aren't on those seats, and because of the high "value" of these seats, it's not likely that many of the individual parts are going to show up. If those seats were in that condition but complete, I'm sure they would have sold for far more.

Yeah, but that doesn't change the fact that the buyer still has to locate more parts, which is most likely why it sold so cheaply.

I don't think the PMD emblems and seatbacks are really worth the extra $250. I've seen both go on Ebay for very cheap. One thing I've learned is that if you've seen it once on Ebay, you'll see it again.

I think the guy got ripped off!

Prices are not coming down, those seats are not worth $10 to me. I think thats a high price to pay.

what about this on ebay? I was watching it, and I wished I bid on it...I already have a perfect one but would have liked a second one at this price.

That would be a 1984 Firebird dash pad. Those are much easier to find than the '82 and '83 dash pad.
