Iroc RPO????

Iroc RPO????
Ok so I'm a little embarrased to say that I'm not 100% sure on this, but I couldn't find the RPO decoder anymore, so I figured I'd ask.
What is the RPO for an 89 Iroc?
I had always thought that ALL IROCS were B4Z. I was recently told that the 85-87, since they were actually Z28s, had the B4Z RPO. In 88, when the Z was gone, the "Iroc" RPO became Z-2-8.
So have I been wrong all this time, or is the guy who told me that an idiot?!!!!

All Irocz's are Z28's. Not all Z28's are Irocz's.
When the Iroc came about in 1985, the Z28 was already an established product and the Iroc package was an option that could be added to it. The Iroc package proved so successful that GM didn't feel the need to continue to produce a Z28 without the Irocz package. So for 1988 all Z28's were badged as Iroc's. Since their weren't two packages that had to be distinguished, the B4Z code was dropped.
As a byproduct of the standard Iroc package on all Z28's, you have the less equipped Irocs. A good example of this can be found in the wheels... In 1988 the base level Irocz came with 15x7" Z28 wheels (85-87 had 16x8's for the Iroc). Where a 85-87 Iroc was a fully loaded, top performance Camaro, 88-up can be much less performance oriented, basically a Z28 with Iroc badges.
The 15x7" Z28 wheels stayed as standard equipment on the Iroc (could be upgraded to 16x8's) until late 88 or early 89 when GM came out with a 15" Iroc wheel styled to look exactly like the 16" Iroc wheel, only smaller.
Another change that came about with the shifting of names and marketing was the 1988 Sport Coupe. For 1988 only, the coupe got the full Z28 body treatment from 1987. Iroc style ground efx, 15x7" Z28 wheels, solid louvered front grill, a flat non-louvered hood, and silver or gold GFX... The badging on these cars reads 'Camaro' instead of 'Z28' or 'IROCZ'. The sport coupe with it's Z28 style body died with the nationwide release and acceptance of the RS model in 1989. Essentially the 88 coupe and the 89 RS are the same car, just different names.
Then for 1991 Chevrolet lost the rights to the Iroc name, and reverted back to the Z28 moniker. GM was already seeing a huge hit in the popularity of the Camaro/Firebird platform and so the Z28 came back in full force, along with a minor cosmetic overhaul to the Firebird to renew the interest of buyers. The changeover came about midway through the 1990 model year, resulting in a stunted 1990 production run, and a whole ****-pot of 1991's on the streets. Hence the reason the 1990 production numbers are so small, and the 1991 numbers are huge, followed by a short run for 1992.
Another byproduct of the changes, are 91-92 Z28's that aren't as well equipped as others of the same year and designation. Since only the RS and Z28 was available, the Z could be ordered with the same suspension, tires, etc of the RS to make a more mid-level car between base and top of the line.
