not only is it another 4x4 conversion, but they used a ford drivetrain!

yep, saw it on Z28.com...too bad they didn't use a Chevy K5 Blazer drivetrain...looks nicely executed otherwise even if it is hillbilly...BTW, can you see a t-case shifter anywhere in those pics?!

you can't see it, but the seller said that it's on the driver side under the door on the outside of the car
so you have to open the door to shift it, i guess they did save the body kinda by not cutting another hole in it. it is a pretty decent job for what they did, but a ford drivetrain?!! nobody wants to see a gm body over a ford frame and drivetrain, if it was a foxbody 'stang over a blazer frame and drivetrain it would be better.

I've looked thru the pictures and don't see a T-case shifter either. They may have used a full time case with manual hubs or electric shift. My '88 Jeep GW had it's shifter under the edge of the front seat. Then my '95 Jimmy has a part time case with shifter in the console.Would be interesting what T-case/trans/front -rear end they used. But you're right screaminformula would have been nice if they had used a GM running gear.I wonder how they handled the gauges/eletronics that are still in there.

Q: Where did you put the 4x4 shifter?
A: The shifter is in the driver side, under the door on the out side.

Axle/Gears: ones that turn
probaly one of the better 4 wheel drive conversions ive seen minus the whole transfer case shifting, but still people like this should not be allowed to own F-bodys period ever
