Probaby that guy named Louie, I think he goes by "dagirls79" or something like that on ebay. We used to chat a bit regarding 83 Pacecars, he has a lot of stuff but usually wants a mint for it. He buys and sells 'em all the time. I love the 83 Pacecar but I don't think it will ever be that collectible, now if the L69 had been offered or a 5.7 liter engine, maybe then.

Negative

'83 Daytona cars only had the LU5 305 Crossfire/Auto combo or 305 LG4/Man Trans.Hard tops and the LG4/Man cars are the scarcest of them all.

OK I think i read somewhere that the L69 had a late introduction and can't remember whether it was 83 or 84

Yea Some 83 Trans Ams at the very end of the model year might have the L69 But I doubt the pacecars were being made that late as the date of production starting is June 10,1983.

Yes, all pacecars were produced by the time the L69 was available in late 83.

Would have made a really sweet combo.
