need paint code for lower dark charcoal grey paint.

also, was it just enamel back then? can't find the rpo codes on the car anywhere.

I want to redo the the door handles and after looking at them the way they are now, they look like they could also be the same grey as the bottom half of the car.

Maybe they are just faded out, but I'd like to know before painting. Also what about the door locks?

 

The door handles and locks are supposed to be semi-gloss black.

 

Im guessing youre missing the ServicePartsOption code decal? If you have this the paint code is as mentioned above and had a L preceeding it and the white is also a WA#### code with a U preceeding it. Obviuosly upper/lower. is right also about the handles. All were black. SEM trim black is best match for OE texture and color.

 

The RPO decal did not start until 1984.

you could also look on the trim plate on the radiator support. My 82 has it's paint codes there 19L 19U
