"Cargo Liner"???

A protective "cargo liner" - I've never seen this before.

Was it a real option from GM? For birds, maros, or both?
Secondary pic makes it look like leather or pleather. What's the material?
Anyone have one? Advantage/Disadvantage?

Re: "Cargo Liner"???

I’m all for cheap crap that’s disposable and keeps the expense crap (the interior) safe. I wouldn’t keep it in there full time but maybe for hauling potted plants or something else messy. Hopefully it’s sealed around the bottom.

Re: "Cargo Liner"???

the GM installation instructions are shown as is the GM box or envelope it came in

Looks to be an "authorized" GM factory / dealer accessory

Re: "Cargo Liner"???

thats prety cool. my rear cargo area in my daily 1986 firebird looks like the bed of a pickup. so many scratches. i have managed to keep my GTA's cargo area nice. hoping to keep it that way.
