Wow, that's quite a unique-looking car... a lot going-on there. I'm not quite sure where to begin: Formula hood; base Firebird(and Formula) front and rear bumper covers; Trans Am fender vents; no spoiler; and aftermarket gfx, including the body kit.
All I can say with a reasonable amount of certainty is that it didn't come from the factory like that. You'll have to analyze the VIN and SPID label to know what you've got there.

Welcome to TGO Kidd55303.That is a very unique Firebird you have. She could be owner modified or a dealer/regional special model. The SPID is the Service Production Information Decal -it's a decal applied to the underside of the console door or in the compartment located at the left rear of the luggage area.it will list all the Regular Production options(RPO) installed on your car.If you find it make sure the VIN on it matches your Bird's VIN.

Not sure why they'd have changed the hood, too, though.
And H through 1987 was the carb'd engine, not TBI.
The SPID label(it has all the RPO codes) on 1987 birds is located inside the console compartment, but on the side facing the driver, not on the underside of the lid.

LAFireboyd that location makes much more sense than the console door.I have always thought, probably as many others, why attach an important piece of information to a part that can wear, break or be removed.

Re: please help me ID my car
It appears to be a Hi-Line Kustoms, Inc. (of Valley City, ND) Convertible from the way that the top meets the windshield and from the way the top sits on the deck lid. The ASC convertilbes were shorter in the roof area from the profile.
THere were several companies out there making convertibles prior to 1987, this would be the first 1987 I have seen that was not an ASC. So this could be an early 1987 OR someone prior to you had a convertible and transferred the equipment to a T-top car.
I suspect the prior as I would imagine some companies would still be offering a convertible to customers if they wanted until ASC got into full swing.
Cool car.
