Quote from the above linked site,
"2 grand is a good deal for a T-Ram. I was offered 3500.00 for mine three years ago. Do you have the auto tranny kickdown / cruise bracket?
Is that paint on it or powder coating?
In my opinion the T-Ram works well, but for pure performance the Holly SR is a better manifold. From what I have dug up, there may have been as few as 60 made, 25 were installed on the 3rd gen firehawks. The HSR dosnt get the attention that the T-RAM gets, gauranteed.
The T-Ram WAS emission legal, and I think it had a CARB exemption also. When I was in the market for a new intake back in the early 90's the T-Ram was the only manifold that was legal. The EGR is located under the upper plenum and there is no provision for the cold start injector. No 9th injector is not a big deal, just takes alittle longer to start when temps are below 60F.
Post this on thirdgen.org, it will sell quickly."

wish i had the extra cash to buy another one
Re: SLP T-RAM intake for sale...
It's now on fleebay....
They are not as hard to come by as most people think. From what info I've heard there are a couple hundred floating around. I also understand Summitt Racing sold the extras as SLP was gearing up for the original 250 Firehawk cars. (I have an orignal Summitt/SLP brochure laying around somewhere w/ the info.)
Here's the link:

They are very cool but not the best intake unless you just HAVE to look like the Firehawks.....

Re: SLP T-RAM intake for sale...
2 grand wasnt a bad price. I paid around 1300.00 for mine new from Summit. It was the last one they had.
Complete would include the water neck, fan shroud for the upper rad hose, three braided fuel lines, adapter for FPR, fittings to adapt stock fuel line to AN, and the auto tranny kick down / cruise control bracket. Oyea, a couple of sets of upper to lower plenum, and side tank gaskets. I may have missed a couple of peices, its been awhile. If you got all that for two grand you got a great deal. If you got what is pictured you got a good deal.
----------
The drivers side plenum tank in the picture is up side down or on the wrong side. The brass fitting is for the power brake booster, should be in the back. There should be a tapped hole in the bottom of one of the tanks, that goes on the bottom, run the vacum lin to the FPR

Re: SLP T-RAM intake for sale...
I paid way less than 2k for this setup. But it did not come w/ the fuel lines or gaskets. I do know a guy who has a complete set of NOS gaskets...he just won't turn loose of them.

Re: SLP T-RAM intake for sale...
I wouldnt worry to much about the gaskets, I think you can by gasket material in sheets and make your own. The cruise / kick down bracket would be the most difficult to reproduce with out the engineered drawings.
Sounds like you got a good deal though. Have you installed it on anything?

Re: SLP T-RAM intake for sale...
in good shape it's worth every penny of 2000.00 and more. I have seen a few for sale one had holes drilled in it
I think some one payed like 1500 or more for it in this poor shape as I watched it sell thinking why would anyone pay that much for a messed up intake. the one listed for sale is not any better I would pass. although I have no use for it anymore anyway so

Re: SLP T-RAM intake for sale...
I wouldnt say that the one for sale is in poor shape. One dip in a hot tank and it would look new. They werent the sexiest intakes ever made. Just ask Ryan Falconer??, he was the guy who designed it.
Follow the linky http://www.falconerengines.com/
This is the guy who really built the intake. He used to make bad a$$ 10 and 12 cylinder engines for air planes and street rods. I tried contacting him in the late 90's but was only able to talk to his administrator. She new alot about the T-RAM.
