Re: ned rpo help

I think almost all of those will be in the RPO decoder on the home page of TGO. IF you dont do that i use this once in a while http://www.c2e.info/rpocodes/

Re: ned rpo help

IF you come up empty, try using Goolge or yahoo, then typing the RPO you want information on then RPO in the search,,, for example "RPO 19a"

If there is information on it It will spit back to you some links to look at.

BTW the 19Q, 19A, 19I & 19B are all BLACK somethings... usually Interior components...

Re: ned rpo help

Have you figured it out yet?

At the bottom of the RPO label it will have the paint codes. It will say "WA-" and then have an "L" and four digits and a "U" and four digits .. upper and lower. The digits will be the same if the car was all one color, or different if it was 2-tone. With those numbers and the make and year any bodyshop supply store can look it up for you.

Re: ned rpo help

A couple more . . .

PO6 - couldn't find. However, P06 is for Wheel Trim Discs
P20 - Styled Wheel Hubcaps
UPS - also couldn't find. However, UP5 is for Radio, AM Stereo - FM Stereo - WX, Seek/Scan, Auto Rev

No luck on the others.

E57 - BODY EQUIPMENT FORWARD CONTROL, GRUMMIN-OLSON, STURGIS, MI
E92 - DOOR DYNAMIC SIDE IMPACT - DELETE
GA3 - FLEET INCENTIVE ALYESKA PIPELINE COMPANY (TRK CKGMLST)
GA4 - FLEET INCENTIVE PERFORMANCE CONTRACTING GROUP (H/K/U/W-TRK CKGST)
UPS - FLEET SALES UNITED PARCEL

Some of those do not add up...

Re: ned rpo help

Going by the paint code "WA" numbers at the bottom of your SPID give this

WA - U8555 Black (Code 41) - Upper color
WA - L7782 Gunmetal Metallic (Code 84) - Lower color

One question does the VIN on the label match your car's VIN. The reason i ask is to make sure you have the correct console top and SPID.

Re: is this a common car combo?

I think you might need another RPO finder, here are some colors that I found...

84L DK HUNT CLUB RED MET (93)
84L HAWAIIAN ORCHID (96)
84L CORDOBA RED (97)
84L BRITISH TELECOM GREY, OPEL (99)
84L YELLOW (01) (SATURN)
84L OPERA RED GLASS (03)

41U BLACK (02)
41U ARINOS GREEN MET (BRAZIL) (02)
41U GREEN MET (CATERA)(02)
41U BLUISH BLACK 3, (02), HOLDEN

Going back to 1986 the colors were actually...
41U - BLACK
84L Medium Gray Metallic

It is hard to say actually how rare the combo is... I think it might look pretty good in Black/Charcoal...

it goes to show you that they often use the same code for several colors, or different options...

John

That's a lot of LOLing. We get that you're good natured... you don't need to lean on the LOL crutch! It makes me picture you as being bouncing off the walls insane. I'm not trying to be a jerk. It just stood out to me and I couldn't help but point it out, and it's impossible to do so with tact... so actually that probably does mean i'm being a jerk.

hey, i'm glad you didn't take offense. I catch myself doing the same kind of thing pretty often. I just happened to notice you do it a couple times in one post and then i looked back through the post and realized it was an epidemic!

We all have our crutches and habits... I personally overuse the ellipsis... I think you might be hard pressed to actually find a handful of meaningful responses that I do not use the three dots... < there I go again ...

Re: is this a common car combo?

i try to think that the 3 dot thing just makes it look like you are sad...or kinda blah, so i try not to use it unless i really have to.

but in anycase, does anyone have a picture of a black sport coupe with medium gray second color. cause i want to see what it looks like before i really decide its what i want for my car.
