Is Hawks Good For Emblems/Decals?
Well I'm putting on new emblems and decals when i get my car back. Is the quality of Hawks decals and emblems good? I really don't want to spend $100s more for NOS. Will there be any difference from real GM to Hawks repro? Where do all you resto guys get your decals/emblems? Heres a list of my order.
*Tuned Port Injection Decal’s $29

*Emblems $79

*Tuned Port Injection Emblem $48

*Front Bumper Emblem $39.95

Thanks guys!!
EDIT: I'm getting the stripe kit from Fbody warehouse, and their door seals. The outer window sweeps and T-Top seals will be genuine GM.

If you want an opinion, I have to say, don't do it unless you want to be disappointed. :-\
I bought RS emblems for my car, expecting them to be like the origanal ones, and they took more than month to get the to my house, and I wasn't happy when I saw them.
Basically their like stickers, and they didn't even last, two of the side emblems fell off, and I made 110% sure it was a nice 70* day out, clear weather.
My friend and I, put them on, used Windex and dried it off and placed them on carefully.
two weeks later I noticed the left one was gone, and found it on the middle of main street. few days later, the right one fell off, and I couldn't find it.
I am not pleased with their business, I'm sure if you look around, you'd find something a lot better quality, and for a better price.
People's opinions are different than others, you can buy the emblems and you probably have a better luck with them.
But I figure I should let this be said while I seen it.

I've seen these emblems that you are referring to and I'm not impressed with them either. They are not made by Hawk's though so take that into consideration when buying other parts. They are made to look similar to the original, but aren't perfect by any stretch. The set my friend received was trimmed down to fit inside the black plastic frame the originals sit in. He added additional glue to them to be sure they stuck and we still notice some peeling back. Unfortunately, he couldn't get anything from GM restoration parts because his decals and emblems are gold and aren't being reproduced yet.
Don't blame Hawks for a product that they are only reselling.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm trying to get a guy to make me some brushed alluminum ones (for the rockers and rear bumper) now. They should look better with my 17" irocs. I'll get the Tuned Port Injection emblem for the rear and the nose from whoevers cheaper for NOS GM, prolly MDM.

From my personal experience, and one of my customers, the only things Hawks are good at is Overcharging, and poor customer service.
