Re: Firehawk Questions
#12 is in play - I spoke with Mark Bailey last night.
#12 was one of two grand prizes given away as part of a nationwide promotion by Firestone Tire Company pushing Firehawk tires. One car was given to a tire purchasing customer who made the purchase during the promotion period and the other car went to the Firestone dealer who sold the winning customer the tires. #12 was awarded to the customer & #13 was given to the dealer.
The customer who won the car didn't have the money to pay the prize taxes on it so he sold it to the local Pontiac Dealer who sold it to Mark - Mark's had it since new.
He said he's recently been offered $70k for the car and was looking for more, it is not a competition model but has only 278 miles on it since new. Mark is an enthusiast, his son own's a yellow 94 6 speed/t-Top hawk and he owns a Red 95 Convertible Hawk with around 12,000 miles on it.
If anyone is seriously interested, PM me your contact info & I will forward it to him.
