I don't have a picture handy, but I have three NOS in-the-box flashlights for the optional roof consoles on Firebirds. Can't be too many of those floating around.

You both have some nice pieces there. While I don't have those, I do have a NOS three piece air dam for the 85-90 TAs still in the box. Don't know why I bought it, or what I'm going to do with it since I have a '91.

I have some nice NOS pieces for my 4th gen (replacement leather bottom cushion for the driver's seat, stripes, center caps etc), but as for cool third gen pieces, the coolest one I've seen as of late is my buddy's NOS 5 speed shift plate for a Camaro.

Re: A Piece of Third Gen History... What U Got?
As for the rear headliner piece that started this thread, it amazes me how awful all of those are. My 21k mile IROC just lost a screw from it's just last night! I found it on the LR seat bottom when I was moving it.
Only my Trans Am, out of the 5 third gens I've owned, still has one in one piece with all the original screws. Why are they so bad???

Exact part I've been searching for. Not quite in my price range most likely but a cool find. Darned things are near impossible to find in a decent shape. Hope you find a buyer for it.

Re: A Piece of Third Gen History... What U Got?
A lot of stuff is actually still available new. Last year I bought new GM park lights, marker lights, and fog lights.
My coolest NOS piece is a rear bumper reinforcement. You west coast folks won't realize the importance of it, lol.

How about a pair of Goodyear Gatorback 245-VR-50-16's!!! Still have the decal on them. Never mounted. Never seen the light of day! Brand spanking new ... well 25 year old.

Also have a new leather covered shifter **** for a TA new in box.

I am surprised those are hard to find. I passed a few up still on cars at the junkyard. Next time I will grab them.
I have some NOS "Fuel Injected" door handle emblems.

Re: A Piece of Third Gen History... What U Got?
I talked with a guy from Cooker tire about reproducing the 80s muscle car tires.
(vett, Camaro, Firebird, ty-syclone trucks, mustang GNsTTAs FireHawks)
He said that he has had quite a few people asking about them.
He also said its a chunck of change for the rights and the molds to do it.
Ive always wanted a set of the old Gatorback tires with stock tread depth and a stickier compound.
I still have 2 of my orginal 245-50 ZR16s off of my 89 Formula 350. they only have 1/8" left of tread on them..
