Re: Johnny Lightning 1/64th Firebird

There's a 1984 Firebird out right now too... I picked up this one a couple weeks ago

Within the last 6 months I found this one too... It's pretty much the same car, but in chrome.

Does the 85 have a 85 hood or is it still the bulged 82-84 hood?

That's cool... JL did the Camaro series years ago. Up until a few months back I hadn't seen their thirdgen Firebirds. It's interesting they have more then one mold and have different versions out there. Usually the manufactures just use different paint jobs every few years, or different wheels, but always the same molds.

I found a couple of them at Kmart, and I think I found one at Toys R Us.

I found a Greenlight Special Edition Firebird at K Mart that was a 1987 firebird formula it is black with gold wheels. It has great detail like opening doors, hood, tail gate and t-tops that come off. I wish I could find more of them.

Re: Johnny Lightning 1/64th Firebird

I ended up getting all my greenlight cars from different suppliers online. I did see some the other day, I want to think it was Toys R Us (having kids gives me an excuse to browse the car isle) ... I had all of the ones they had, so buying a second was not on my radar. I could not let my 6 yr old son play with them anyways...
