i know i need the Dash Embelem and spoiler embelem. what else do i need? as my Camaro is a 91 so it already has 25th ground effects.

i see 25th Teal Camaros with no stripes but im wondering could you get the heritige package with the teal color Camaro?

 

The only difference is the two emblems and the stripes. I've never seen a teal one but since it would be a clone who cares. Be different.

 

Thanks, ya i've seen Teal ones before. this one guy has a teal 1992 Camaro RS sitting in his yard for 8 years with barely any miles everythings like new but one rip in the drivers seat and the tires still have the little nipples and the rims are shiny all 25th and its got nice 25th z28 seats and door panels and its clean inside and everything is spotless and the dash pad has no cracks, its just like it rolled off the show room floor but its rusted out on the bottom, he said the rear ends gonna fall out.he said he really really wants the 5.0 and wheels and he doesnt care about the car.

 

Are you just wanting you 91 to be a 92, or are you wanting to have the heritage package on your 91?

Dash emblem is all you need to have your car appear to be a 92 25th anniversary car, but to appear to be a Heritage Z03 car you will need paint your car to one of the appropriate Z03 colors, white w/ red stripes, black w/ red stripes, red w/ black stripes, purple haze w/ silver, or polo green with gold stripes. You will still need dash emblem and rear deck badge. After that your pretty much good to go.

I would just throw some black heritage stripes on your car and call it a day.

 

Well since 1991 and 1992 are identical, I figured why not make it a 25th? Who's gonna say its not? so yeah my car originally being Teal could not have had the heritage package. So no stripes, just dash badge and spoiler badge.

I wouldn't even waste your $80 on the rear spoiler badge then, only cars with stripes came with them. You need just dash emblem, then go so all your friends how cool your clone is

 

Personally, I'd just keep what you got and customize it like you want it. Spend your money on performance improvements instead of emblems and such. Just my two cents worth.

 

Well the car looks horrible and I'm going to re-paint it and get new interior. I can get anything i need really cheap so it doesn't matter what i redo. I have a 5.0L and maybe a trans out of a 88 or 89 Camaro with 86,000 I got free. My dad owns a car and truck and boat shop. We do any customization and fix anything. So nothing is a problem with the car.

 

Maybe you should just make a customized 91... I think they are pretty cool

As for me, I would keep as is. I'm about having pride. Lying about what you got is not my taste. Of course I'm suppose to have a 305 TPI. But having a 350 TPI is what I chose. But i still kept my Camaro a genuine IROC-Z.

 

We already covered this. Only cars with stripes had those. I'm just getting the Dash Badge and telling people it's a 25th. Since 91/92 are identical I'm just putting the Dash badge on and then there it is. I plan on painting it the original teal and putting the black and grey interior in it but just painting the grey plastic parts and getting some American Racing Outlaw I's. with big tires in the back and little tires in the front. Also I'm looking for the key lock scratch grauds, that say Genuine Chevrolet. I'm currently also looking for the heart beat of America floor mats and there's a older chrome steering wheel I'm looking for don't know what it's called.

 

Maybe we should move this out of the History/Originality forum then. Trying to make a 91 appear to be a 92, changing the rims and adding hideous aftermarket accessories violates the originality rule!
