Great find for the price! BTW, you have the F41 suspension and a 3.42 rear end.

I believe it was on ebay a month or so ago for twice the price. I remembered seeing it thinking it would be an awesome LS conversion car. Looks like a nice unmolested one, good score!

If water was up to the sills i would pull the seats, center console and then the complete carpet and let everything breath for awhile. You dont want a moldy smell or the rust that may form. Otherwise looks like a very strong candidate for a hipo build of your choice.

Many of the cars flooded by Sandy were flooded with salt water. Since your seat tracks are rusted tight, I would suspect that your car may have encountered salt water. Usually fresh water does not rust things that severely. If it were mine, I would strip it and flush everything liberally with fresh water. It's difficult to stop the effects of salt water, however striping the car down will allow everyhing to dry completely, and allow you to do a complete inspection to see what if any problems you have. The car is a nice clean example.
Providing that your car did not get an unhealthy dose of the Atlantic Ocean, it looks like a great platform to build a nice street car. As the owner of an all original 82 TA with 24K miles, and an all original 86 TA with 30K miles, there is nothing comparable to a low mileage original. Mine are so tight that the doors just click when you shut them. Still be prepared for anything. Time wears on cars even if the mileage is low. I have to tinker with my cars all the time to keep everything working like it should.

Nice 85! That one looks to have been built about 1,400 Camaros before mine.
