I have recently acquired a 92 rs camaro heritage edition, it is white with red stripes but is has tan interior and leather seats, wondering if this is unusual?

There's nothing in the Black Book that says you had to have Red interior with a White 25th...while a little unusual, it's not really going to do anything good to the value of the car, although I could see it hurting it slightly since most people that look for White 25ths probably want the Red interior that usually comes with it.

Have you verified those three codes on your RPO sticker? It should show 'Z03' for 25th Anniversary, '10' for Arctic White exterior, and '662' for Light Brown leather.

 

Let's clear up one thing. The Z03 does not signify 25th Anniversary. All 1992 Camaros were 25th Anniversary. The Z03 designates the Heritage Edition. If you don't have Z03, then somebody added the stripes. The fact that the headlight buckets are black is a good sign that the car is a Heritage Edition, but again, they could've been painted by a previous owner.

 

Grill is not body color.... might not be a Z03

 

RPO sticker would be the only tell really at this point because badge in the back may be missing. With that said, I do have a Z03 with black interior, white exterior with the red stripes.

 

The 92 Heritage Edition cars were available in White with red stripes, Black with red stripes, Red with black stripes, Purple with silver stripes and Green with gold stripes. The White cars could have black, beige, gray or red interiors.
