Heres mine! Its had some touch ups here and there, but she's still looking good for 123,000 miles! It's pretty original other than the wheels, which I never got the stock ones with it..

Re: High Mile Third Gens,Post yours
Under 150k is not high miles for the age, really under 200. Mine has 117 and was parked for 12 years of its life. Wife has a '13 charger with 65k on it now. Guess it's a matter of opinion.

Mine has 207,000 on it, with the original 305 that's never been out of the car or taken apart. Gets 29 mpg on the highway and 23 mpg in town. Has the T-5 and 3.23 rear gears. It's currently at the body shop getting fully re-worked and painted.
EDIT: Got these pics from the body shop today! Super excited! I absolutely LOVE the color!

Here is one with 170K! I nominated him for COTM a few months back and he didnt get it in the running which is unfortunate!
Again great cars guys! High mileage can still be great show winners!

Stored every winter (Thanksgiving - Easter approx.). Finally repainted this year - clear coat was going.
Bought it new in '89, drove out to Santa Barbara, and drove up and down PCH. I promptly drove my new car into a tree

Here's a photo of mine from a few years ago when I first bought it, it had 132k on it then:
What hood is that? I like that it's only a small rise, it's pretty subtle compared to some of the ones that are out there.

Ive nearly got the first 3 cars mileage combined
At 312k currently. Original engine was swapped at 296k, so I guess thats where the rule ends
Ive also got a 342k V6/T5 thats had the trans replaced, but it definitely looks its age. 97 Silverado with 384k all original, but its not a Fbody

My '90 GTA is just over 100,000 miles.. I've hardly driven it in the last 3 years. It just takes up room in my garage

Re: High Mile Third Gens,Post yours
Any clue on the brand? Looking around all I can find is the ones with the ridge. Idk why they even put that ridge on them, it's not like the nose has a matching ridge.

Re: High Mile Third Gens,Post yours
Not sure of the actual brand name, but I got it from Classic Industries. The one they have listed online has the ridge in it, but the one they shipped to me does not (obviously ). I was glad to see the one I received was the smoother design. They have a 3" fiberglass one that looks like mine, but I wanted the smaller 2" height and all-steel construction.

Re: High Mile Third Gens,Post yours
I hadn't even thought of checking classic, & checking there made me think to check Rick's Camaros, The one I found on Rick's is the smoother design in the picture, but since it's $100 more than the classic one I might just call classic & see if I can get them to confirm whether theirs has the ridge on it or not.

We really enjoyed reviewing the images of all of these awesome high mileage third gens. It's great to see all of these third gen cars that are driven daily and read through the comments.
We also wanted to thank you for the interest in the cowl hoods that we offer like the hood that Blue 90 RS used on his car. I want to be careful not to hijack this thread, but want you all to know that because of your comments here, we have created a new part number, 152810 for the 2" inch cowl induction hood with the less pronounced center ridge. You may order this part number to be sure that you receive the hood with the smoother looking scoop. We will also continue to offer Part number 1668292, which is the 2" cowl hood with the more pronounced ridge. Please PM us or you may want to consider starting another thread about cowl hoods (or post your comments at this link) if you have any further comments or questions about these hoods.
